Hi, I’m Briana
I'm happy you're here! It requires courage to take this step.
My passion is helping clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies through a compassionate, weight-neutral approach. I believe that true wellness begins with nurturing a gentle connection with yourself and your body. I provide support to meet you where you are on your journey, recognizing that you are the ultimate expert on your experiences. My goal is to bring a supportive and understanding presence to empower you to cultivate a relationship with food and your body that feels authentic to you.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities like surfing, hiking, and backpacking. I also love snuggling with my two kitties, Zia and Mushu!
My Nutrition Philosophy
I utilize Intuitive Eating and a weight neutral approach, emphasizing that health can be achieved without focusing on weight or body size. My role is to empower individuals to make choices that align with their values honoring the diverse paths to healing.
My approach acknowledges the complex interplay between food, emotions, and past experiences. This involves utilizing diverse counseling techniques to help clients gain insight into their interactions with food, movement, and body image. Through a trauma-informed lens, I aim to create a safe space to explore these connections and develop sustainable nourishment goals.
My approach to nutrition therapy focuses on food, movement, and body image within my scope of practice. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team—including therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers—ensures a comprehensive and holistic approach to client care.
